Are probiotics beneficial when still infected by Helicobacter Pylori and would Kefir be of benefit too?

Probiotics (including Kefir) are very subjective. There is no real scientific evidence that they work. Probably because it is a very complex question and nobody know exactly what happen. Many believes that the probiotics you ingested cannot survive in your body for long. others argue that the antibacterial agents can be released from the dead probiotics and reduce bad bacteria.

Whatever it is, they are all theories. If you feel good, just continue taking it. If you dont feel any improvement, you can stop or change the product.

do they have impact on H. pylori? most probably not.

l am having benefit from the probiotics, l not only suffer from Helicobacter Pylori but Multiple allergies: Latex Perfume
Chemicals and certain plants and contact dermatitis .
The immunologist has indicated that l have Uticaria Angiodema.Tested for Lactose Intolerance..Positive
l have had 4 endoscopies results:Polyp lower end of the Oesophagus/stomach caused by the Helicobacter Pylori Aspirate
showing Helicobacter Pylori and Small Bacterial Overgrowth....Removal of benign Polyp.
The Kefir l haven't found much benefit the( bought ones)l am going to try to make my own Kefir and do a bit of experimenting.
l have Arla UHT Milk it is lactose free recently started to increase fibre and exercise Tai Chi which has helped a great deal
with my health.
l am still infected after 2 triple therapies and had side effects from them the second treatment suffered with Myalgia affecting
my neck shoulders and sinuses.
l want to get my gut balanced after all these antibiotics and should l have triple therapy again or try Natural treatment?
Would be grateful for your advice.
Thank you for being supportive.

If you really want to get rid of H. pylori, you will have to use antibiotics. There is very little to no evidence that natural products is able to kill H. pylori in vivo.

Talk to your doctor about Pylera treatment.
