Don't have a clue where i stand, i called back my doctors asking for a h.pylori test(breath test) they asked if my doctor has asked to get one and i said no she never even spoke about it and then they said we dont usually do a follow up test so then i asked how am i supposed to recover not knowing if its been eradicated? she said we can give you a phone appointment to speak to a doctor.
with no mention of my eradication therapy, h.pylori or anything along they lines at my last appointment it was focused on my depression i knew as i said before they seem to have the full faith eradication therapy works first time.
For me what you said you need to make sure it has been eradicated is common sense or else i would be going round in circles going to my doctor to then get sent to gastrologist and then for an endoscopy when they could just give me a breath test after my therapy, frustrating to say the least.

Then perhaps you need to seek second doctor who is willing to provide you the follow up breath test.

Not sure why is your doctor stopping you for second breath test. is the breath test covered by government?
