Hi,

when you say recovery you mean some special protocol or ?

Btw I am very curious why IgG was so drastically increased (over 3 times) should we consider that normal?

"In July 2017 after blood test IgG was 289 U/ml, we did not pay to much attention until
another test in March 2018 when IgG was 886.5 U/ml and IgA 120.6 U/ml."

Are the two blood tests done by the same laboratory? that's a very significant increase of IgG. normally that would indicate presence of HP. However, you have a negative stool and breath test recently. I think that should be good enough to show you are currently negative of HP.

The blood tests are from two different laboratories. In the next two weeks she will do gastroscopy and then I guess we will know for sure that Helicobacter is gone.

Thank you Helico_expert for all your help!

That explained why the blood test results are so different.
Each laboratory has their own standard. So the reading may not be comparable directly.

All the best to the endoscopy examination.

Hello,

My sister did gastroscopy examination yesterday, and fast urease test showed that she is HP positive. This is the 4-th time that she is HP positive (she did take Pylera in May 2018 and in July she did urea breath and the result was 1.54)

Is there anyway she can get rid of HP? Just a note, she has been diagnosed with MS and has trouble with walking and stability.

She has to find a good specialist who has good laboratory support to culture the H. pylori strain. Then antibiotic susceptibility testing can be done and the specialist can prescribe something more effective.
