Hello Helico-expert this is the result of the MRI. Is it safe to start the H pylori treatment? Please give me your opinion about this results. Thank You very, very much for your opinion, for all the help you can give us.
C.T. scan of the abdomen and pelvis with and without contrast:
High resolution CT Scan of the abdomen and pelvis was done at 3mm interval slices from level of hemidiaphragm up to symphysis pubis after the oral and IV administration of contrast.
Findings:
COPD changes, but clear lungs. No pneumonic infiltrates or masses seen at the lower lung fields, lingual and right middle lobe respectively.
Liver, spleen and pancreas are normal in size and texture. No focal lesions seen. Adrenal glands and retroperitoneum are normal.
The gallbladder is adequately distended with radiopaque densities within its lumen suspicious of gallstones. Please corroborate with sonography.
Kidneys are normal in size, texture and show no hydronephrosis. There is a small calcific density at the right renal parenchyma, mid third portion. This is producing no obstruction. A smaller calculus is seen at the lower pole of left renal collecting system producing no obstruction. No hydronephrosis, cystic or solid lesions seen.
Atheromatous changes of abdominal aorta and common iliac arteries.
Uterus is anteverted and normal in size. No adnexal masses seen. No colonic mass or inflammatory process noted.
IMPRESSION:
1. COPD changes, but clear lungs.
2. suspected cholelithiasis
3. atheromatous changes of abdominal aorta and common iliac arteries
4. left renal non-obstructive calculi
