After hylori
Re: After hylori
Hello,
I am from India. I have been diagnosed with H pylori and it has been three months since. Now, I feel a lot better. But, If I have one heavy meal it takes three days to come out of the gastritis and I have excruciating nausea and laziness during these three days. Do u think the bacteria is still there? Because, my Doctor did not recommend another endoscopy after the treatment of triple therapy. Kindly suggest. I was on PPI for 15 days after my treatment and now I have left taking PPI and I still encounter gastritis every twice in a week for a small variation in my food.

you can switch to H2 blocker (eg. ranitidine) for a few weeks, then go for a breath test. it's less invasive and it will tell you if you still carry H. pylori.

Hey,
Thanks for the response.
What should be the quantum and how many times should I take it? I still have bloating and recurrent nausea though I feel much better after treatment. Is my stomach still yet to recover from the triple therapy? It's been almost two months

Hey,
Thanks for your response.
What should be the quantum of ranitidne and how many times I should consume it for a day? It's been two months after my triple therapy. Though I feel better I still have bloating and weakness. Can I hit the gym now?

Dont worry about the dosage. Just wait for a month, then repeat your breath test.
Yes, you can go to the gym anytime you want.
