My doctor ordered pylera and protonix to kill H pylori, but I see in the instruction of pylera, it should be taken with omeprazole. I asked the doctor he said protonix is ok, but I am still concerned about not following the instruction of the medicine. I have taken them for three days, not sure if I should switch. Any expert opinions? Thanks

Protonix is alright. There are too many brands of PPI out there. Any brand is good. However, prof Marshall always give very high dose of PPI. Usually double or triple the average dose. Higher dose PPI tend to have better cure rate.
