Positive experiences with Manuka?

Post by JSVDVM » Sat Jun 18, 2016 1:06 am

I have recently purchased some Manuka, not for H-Pylori purposes.

I accidentally read it is good for H-Pylori? So, I am specifically interested in success stories :)

to date, there is no scientific report that suggest manuka honey and mastic gum work. In fact, there is a human trial done on manuka honey and showed no effect in killing H. pylori in the stomach. DGL, assume that you meant Licorice, has quite a handful of drug drug interaction. So i wouldnt recommend you to take it together with the antibiotics.

Antibiotics are the only way to kill h. pylori. you can take manuka honey and other probiotics in the same time to reduce side effect.
