the mild stomach pain could be due to inflammation ie: gastritis...
it can also be called dyspepsia if you have symptoms like indigestion, bloating, burping...etc.

the bacteria is known to cause this degree of symptoms for certain people, while other people ( non-symptomic) might not....

if you are still on the PPI acid reducing drugs...you might not be getting acid reflux due to low acid secretion into your stomach....it can also mean, the food you ate is taking longer time to digest, and you are belching due to build up gas release from food.

I am not an expert...but you could try to reduce certain food intake.

a) try to eliminate your dairy intake...no cheese, milk, soy, butter...
b) replace some of these food with fruits. Not sure what fruits is available;...perhaps not orange or apples...
or even try to get juicers to drink. Alkaline fruits+vegs.
c) try not to sit too long.... my work allows me to sit 6-8 hours...and it can be hazardous yet some people won't know this. Take strolls, and walks after meals...
d) work stress and pressure...try to find a different way in handling those. We all have these...you need to take strolls , walks to clear your mind or take even 2-5 minutes to relax , close your eyes.
e) probiotics... get supplements for them. Most out there are from dairy....so, you might want to reduce that.
f) chew your food longer,...and take smaller portions but frequent.

Worrying isn't going to change anything. I was like you. I failed 3 treatments, tried those mastic, VCO..etc.. but ended up getting worse. My 4th treatment so far has shown negative...but I have alot of healing to do...since it was damaged....

Get a treatment plan/ regime...there are some antibiotics treatment here from the forum. Ask helico_expert to provide some advise on that.

btw..of no reason mentioning...I am chinese as well. Just a note...try to eat less salty, sweet, and processed related food.

take care and speedy recovery to you.
thank you for your response, i will try to do the suggestions you listed above.!

Stomachache is too general.
If you are having discomfort... Areas on top of your navel or belly button.. That is stomach related. Anything below the rib cage can be intestinal and if right side...pancreas ,gallbladder or liver related.

If you mean the top area of you navel...then my answer is... Sometimes I do. The scale of discomfort would be 5 of 10. Either due to certain food.

Perhaps food sensitivity or you have some active gastritis or inflammation that is still healing.. Have to know if it occurs before or after meals?

I usually have slight discomfort in the evening after my dinner. I eat only veggies ,pumpkin or potatoes or another vege along with fish. I no longer eat meat.
But that is my choice. I have less dypepsia feeling than before my last treatment.

I still eat wheat or multi grain bread...that is something I have not cut. I eat some graham crackers between meals when I need to... Also need to eat less. I tried sugar free jams but it seems that I still cannot take these process food...so I take fruits and bread in the morning. Oats at times.

Sometime noodles that are rice based and not those packed noodles with MDG...cook them with cabbage and some fish. I no longer eat any canned food.

I know it looks kinda strict on my side...but I have been infected perhaps more than 3 years. After a depressing 3 failure course... I begin Chinese meds but helper very little. So depression and anxiety is also part of this symptoms...we just need to stay positive regardless. The last treatment I took was in September this year. The results in Nov is negative. I am asked to test again in Feb .

I live with some family members and as you know food sharing is part of Chinese culture. So might want to reduce sharing food. I cannot do much to tell them to get tested as my family did not exhibit symptoms.

I stopped eating raw uncooked food as well....Japanese or Korean dishes. Food is the only way this is transmitted.

Hope I helped in some ways. Please stay positive... I know the pain and frustration...but healing takes time and different ppl have different outcome. I am still hoping to get back to my normal self... Speedy recovery to you.

Hi, Thank you for your response so quickly!
yes, the painful area is around the left bottom rib and close to precordium.

pain doesn't seem to to have regularity, like yesterday i felt pain since morning till night, it came and went, and the degree of the pain was not very heavy. today i haven't felt any pain so far. by the way, i did feel painful sensation when i took medication. but pain come back again when treatment was ended for one week. the good thing is that like i said acid-reflux, burping(it's like there is some air hanging in my throat) have disappeared.

anyway it's my pleasure to meet you here, i know it's hard to see Chinese in this forlum! could you leave you contact information to me, email, or QQ.

thank you!

Hi,

I did not get such sensation on the left side.
Perhaps you could try sleep on the other side (right) during your rest....

Not sure the medication you are still taking. PPIs?. If yes, it might explain your lack of acid to digest the food, and cause gas build up...ie: burping.

Honestly, nobody knows if the medication work until you do the breathe test.
To be certain, make sure you stop the drugs that affects the breathe test readings. Again, I would suggest as well to retake another breathe test post 3 months or so after that to be certain again.

I have been getting negative (breathe test), but positive on endoscopy ( 6 months later). I believe my UBT was done after 4 hours of meal...could be inaccurate.
So, this time, I did my UBT in the morning after fasting 8 hours with no water, no food, ....

Some of the people in this forum feels better after treatment, some develop other side effects, some still have their symptoms....
But the majority of the people here gradually got better.

I can just say, keep up with your food-diet checks.

i don't take any medicine right now, including PPI. there are always some troubles looking for me, the painful sensation have been becoming better, but i have dyspepsia symptom in these two days, the stool is not very dry.
my next breath test will be in January 4th, but i haven't done gastroscopy, but my GI doctor said that if i have any discomfort when i take breath test, probably i will need to do gastroscopy.

Hi. Hope things are getting better

As long as you are not getting watery stools. I think the gut and colon is recovering.
Have to stay positive and see the better side of thing regardless any outcome. I tell myself that even though it can be hard.

As for the dypepsia. It could be a healing inflammation. Stomach isn't like our external skin where it gets well over few days.
.internal body takes longer. Just try to reduce aggravating foods. Stick to easy digestive food for awhile..until you feel stronger to take heavier meals
Also take smaller meal size but regularly to avoid hunger.

Do something aside thinking about your stomach. Our brain tends to focus when we feel not normal.

I wish you the best on the breathe test. I am waiting to retake mine next month...to affirm my eradication again.
O have very small dypepsia sensation or none unless my brain thinks about it too much.
I also need to talk to my specialist on long term assessment for my intestinal metaplasia that was due to probably my chronic gastritis and h.pylori.

Have a good starting new year. I messaged you my email if u have general diet questions that I am following.

Hello! am also battling with this nasty! Disgusting ! bacteria.. After my first AntiBiotics treatment, i felt better for one week, after, i started feeling the same old symptoms in a very worst way. I cant even have control over my stomach, it keeps on bloating and making loud noises just like the nasty bacteria is walking in there.. I have now resumed my second treatment with an innovative desperate approach.. My Doc prescribe two antibiotics and one Acid inhibitor medicine.. I realized the acid inhibitor makes me to be constipated and bloated.. My personal innovative approach is taking the two antibiotics and taking Mastic Gum as an Acid inhibitor.. Mastic Gum is a Natural med that can kill HP and Cure stomach Ulcer.. This approach is really working for me.. I recommend you do the same, if you are really desperate like me. I baught my Mastic Gum online (Amazon). Also Note my friend: remove coffee and Alcohol, its triggers stomach pain and acid.. Hope it helps. Together we can destroy this NASTY HELL BACTERIA, I will fight it till my last breath, because i was not born with it. And want to start ENJOYING LIFE as usual

Hey guyz, I advise that you also try different options. I realized that treatment given to me by the first doc that diagnosed me of H Pylorie wasn’t working. I did a second test, there was also h plorie. I decided to take mastic gum, Manuka Honey an Green tea and visited another professional Family Doctor. We did four stool tests compressing 12 samples of bottles and take it to a different private lab.. It confirm that I don’t have H pylorie, I also did a colonoscopy and endoscopy , also confirmed that I don’t have h pylorie. The gastroenterologist and my new professional doc releases the reason for my irritable bowel and excessive gas is due to IBD- Inflammatory bowel disease.. Am now 100 percent optimistic to have a treatment that will cure all these nasty symptoms.

I also advise you to explore different doctor in order to have a different opinion.
Good Luck..

I'm curious about what exactly are those 2 antibiotics that were prescribed to you.

are they any of these?
Nexium 20mg (30tabs)
Metronidazole 400mg
Levofloxacin 500mg

..and you mentioned you bought mustic gum from Amazon, did you take in capsules form for natural?
