2nd line drug question

Hello,

About a year ago I attempted first-line treatment with lansoprazole, amoxicillin, and clarithromycin. Sadly a stool test revealed that I was still positive following the 14-day course. I changed doctors in the meantime and have now been prescribed quadruple therapy of lansoprazole, amoxicillin, metronidazole, and levofloxacin as second-line therapy, also for 14 days.

I have not come across this particular combination of antibiotics for second-line treatment in my research and wonder what experts on this board would make of it in terms of efficacy. Thank you very much for any insights you can provide.

Since you had not tried metronidazole and Levofloxacin before, this combination may work
