We have seen many cases where people improve the quality of life after eradicating H. pylori.
After eating anything mostly breakfast I always have the feeling that I am super full till my neck though I don't eat that much.its 9 the day after finishing my medication.

not everyone recover immediately. it depends on the level of damage that has already been done. So hopefully you will gradually be better everyday. By the way, you may want to describe your "fullness" experience to your doctor. See if they think you need medications that help food going through stomach. eg. Domperidone

Since climate is changing in Netherlands...I am having cough and cold...I hope it is because of weather only and not related to H pylori.can this be because if this? My Doctor told me that she can't check me before 6 month as it's against guidelines of Netherlands so she put me on Omeprazole 20 mg for 15 days and said if still symtoms will be there she will send me for endoscopy.i am scared as I have heard endoscopy is difficult test.

drinking warm water is fine.

endoscopy is not too difficult. we spent about 30 min on each student.

Hi Helico,

I have had an endoscopy done which came back negative for H Pylori, Celiac Disease, no other issues.

I still am having chronic bloating, and feel very lethargic. I have tried probiotics, prebiotics, low fodmaps diet, antispasmodic, amitizia for constipation and no results.

I'm thinking the triple treatment ruined my gut-flora, now maybe I have SIBO? I am going to request a breath test. Is there anything else I should consider? GI docs are just saying it is IBS-C and I feel they are over-diagnosing that. I'm chronically down psychologically because of this.

Endoscopy is usually accurate. Nevertheless, you can definitely order a breath test to double confirm. Make sure you wait long enough before the breath test. Usually at least 4 weeks. We have to consider why endoscopy may have given a false negative result. perhaps there is not enough H. pylori. Then you'll have to give enough time for H. pylori to grow up in mass, so you wont get a false negative in breath test as well.

Also, you'll have to stop all acid reducing drugs and antibiotics for at least 4 weeks as well.
