Just took my last antibiotics dosage. Here's an update:

Shortness of breath (when exercising) - Even better than last week.
Sinuities - Minor improvement? Not sure.
Bad breath - Still gone. The antibiotics also got rid of a nasty smell left over from my wisdom teeth extraction site.
Chronic white tongue (tested not thrush) - Not better.
Chronic dry lips - Not better.
Chronic dry facial skin - Much better. When I was on Doxycycline, it was not dry but it came back as soon as I stopped.
Phelm in throat - No difference
Chronic cough - Slightly better --> completely gone. No longer cough a lot when exercising.
Chronic dry mouth - Slightly better.
Chronic dry eyes - Not better or slightly better.

I hope some of my symptoms don't come back. If it does, I'll at least know that antibiotics helped and can talk to doctors about it.

I'll report back maybe in a week or so.

How long does it take the antibiotics to no longer be effective in my body?

I'm just wondering when I should expect my symptoms to come back if they come back in the absence of the antibiotics. I'm expecting the worst and hoping for the best.

usually the antibiotic will be out of your system very quickly. I would say within 2-3 days

It's been about 50 hours since I last ingested antibiotics. I've been eating probiotic supplements immediately after to try to refill my gut with good bacteria.

My facial skin is even moister than when I was on antibiotics. Hoping this trend continues.

All of my updates remain unchanged. My face is even more moist than before (good thing). Don't want to jynx it.

However, my tongue is getting a lot more coating than before I started the antibiotics and during the antibiotics. Anyone know the reason why or how I can get rid of the coating?

haha... there are reports about HP treatment improve skin condition. So hopefully your skin stay moist.

in regards to your tongue coating, hopefully it's just temporary. if it doesnt go away within this week, you can check with your doctor.

I have an appointment with my doctor next week.

If my symptoms don't return, then this was a massively successful treatment. Every symptom that made life hard is gone. I can deal with the symptoms that are left.

Anyway, don't want to jinx it. Hope I continue to feel better and hope others have relief as well.

The more I researched H Pylori, the more issues I learned it caused: Skin issues, IBS issues, iron deficiency issues, bad breath, etc. I feel for those who are dealing with them but never had a chance to get tested for H Pylori.

What can we do to get people informed?
