h pylori sumtoms

i was diagnosed H. Pylori om 09 Feb,2015 thru endoscopy. before that i took treatment for gastritis and later for colitis which exceeded 2 months. i have started the treatment of amoxillin and clarithromycin and pantaprazole. just on the 2nd day the pain and burning in the lower abdomen diminished to a large extend. i was delighted as i could sleep comfortably for 3 nights. to my horror the pain and burning returned after 5 days. I have quiet a few symptoms similar to many of the patients described in your site. But i do not have nausea , weight loss, loss of appetite. But one symptom which no one described is pressure and pain in groin area and pressure on the lower abdomen and a felling to pass stool. my KFT , LFT, CEA, PSA and urine test were normal. My gastroenterologist ruled out hernia or any other complication except H. Pylori. how long the pain, spasm and burning sensation in lower abdomen area will last ? i am supposed to take this concoction of medicine for 14 days and then see my doc.do i need to see him before my appointment for increase in pain and discomfort or is it normal?

it's not common to have lower abdomen pain if it is for H. pylori infection. If the pain persist, then you should see a doctor for a physical checkup.

I was diagnosed with it. Jan.25. Finished my 7 days around Feb.4.th 2015.

and YES after i took the HP pac my symptoms Increased from CONSTANT stomach pain in the upper abdomen
to
CONSTANT stomach pain in the upper abdomen
lower abdomenn/groin pain
shooting testicle pains.
Random intestinel pain.
Dull chest pain Mostly in right center of the chest -- that brought me to the ER on one occision. + multiple caridolight visists.. ( he said my heart was perfect after many tests)
unable to sleep -- maybe 2-3 hours a night.

By March 25.2015 Most of my symtoms have improved or disapeared.
Stopped PPI -- just taking vitamins + probiotics + Zantac or tums when my stomach acted up.

CONSTANT stomach pain in the upper abdomen --- GONE. ..
lower abdomenn/groin pain --- GONE --- went for Ultrasound of abdomen --- All clear -- did multiple urinary tests - all clear.
shooting testicle pains. --- GONE --went for Ultrasound of testicle --- All clear
Random intestinel pain. --- on occasion .. but not often --
unable to sleep -- maybe 2-3 hours a night. -- did not improve

Today.
Stomach has been back to normal for last 2 weeks. Havent taken ANYTHING for stomach in a while.. no PPI/ Zantac or Tums
Dull chest pain Mostly in right center of the chest -- Still occurs throughout the day.... Doc thinks Anxiety... if continues i might need to go for CT scan.
I have been taking Sleep8 herbel pills for the past week..., my sleep has improved to 5-6 hours a night.. Not back to the way it was PRE H.pylori but much better.

KIcker : did the urea test MOnday ... Today : results in I'm still Postive ... WTF ... hehe Fun continues!

At least you found out that the bug is still there and your symptoms are not imaginary.

So please discuss with your doctor for the second antibiotic treatment. Try another mild one (eg. PPI + Amox + Metronidazole + Pepto Bismol)
