Hello Mr. Marshall. My name is Denis. I live in republic Kazakhstan.
At me chronic helicobacter gastritis.
At me such question to you. I used klaritomicin in standard helicobacter eradication therapies (omeprozol+amoxicillin+klaritomicin), once in a life, seven months ago. It is attempt helicobacter eradication therapies was not successful. Instead of seven days of treatment, I used five days. Helicobacter eradication has not occurred. My analysis: HP (++) Yesterday gastroscopy has shown a chronic gastritis, and under a microscope it is found out helicobacter .
I wish to spend helicobacter eradication once again. I wish to use again in the protocol klaritomicin. I am afraid of that at helicobacter there was a resistance to klaritromicin. Or for seven months at helicobacter there was again a sensitivity to klaritromicin?
Once again I will repeat, before never in a life I used klaritromicin. What protocol helicobacter eradication you can offer?

Hello, it is nice to hear from someone in Kazakhstan.
Your question is probably answered in the pdf file we have on line (see the amoxicillin question). Your germ is resistant to clarithromyicin by now. Treatment may be successful with amoxicillin 1G three times daily, rabeprazole 20 mg three times daily, ciprofloxacin 5oo mg twice daily, rifabutin 150mg twice daily. Take the treatment for 10-14 days but only start rifabutin and ciprofloxacin on day 6, take them for the last 5 days; from day-6 to day 10.
Please read the article and discuss with your doctor. :ugeek:

Mr. Marshall, many thanks for the answer.
My doctor does not know about use rifabutin and ciprofloxacin in the protocol eradication Helicobacter.
Now my doctor offers to me such protocol eradication HP:
rabeprozole 20mg \twice a day + De-Nol 240mg\twice a day + amoxicillin 1G \twice a day + nifuratel 400mg \twice a day.
What do you think of use nifuratel (the trade mark "Macmiror") instead of furazolidon??
Nifuratel and furazolidon are nitrofurane group an antibiotic. But Nifuratel it is least toxic, than furazolidon.
What do you think of it??

The combination you suggested is a reasonable choice. I have not used exactly those antibiotics. I estimate that the cure rate is at least 65% with that. I suggest use rabeprazole 20 three times per day. More is better and it is quite safe. :geek:
