The most popular treatments consist of two antibiotics (one of which is usually clarithromycin) plus a strong acid blocker such as omeprazole (PriLosec, Nexium, Somac, Zoton, etc.). Treatment is for 7-10 days. Cure rate is about 85%

I was diagnosed after Endoscopy and biapcy H pylori positive. Triple treatment taken for 5 days.That was in March 2017. Since then I am taking Pentaprazole 40 mg regularly empty stomach in morning.

For the last about 1 month even taking Pentaprazole severe gas and chest pain disturbed me .went to good no of General practitioners. But no permanent reliefs are noticed.

You need to check with your doctor to see if you are still infected with H pylori
