Re: IBS,GERD, Mouth Ulcers After successful H Pylori Eradica

Highway4206: In 2007 I started a job at a Hospital and was primarily responsible for the proper disposal of Bio-hazardous waste as well as regular waste. Throughout my entire shift I was breathing in waste particles. The work environment had a very distinctive stench which I could actually taste way...

Re: IBS,GERD, Mouth Ulcers After successful H Pylori Eradica

UPDATE: My IBS has recently resolved itself after I underwent a colonoscopy. I'm not exactly sure what my GI did, but now I have normal and well formed bowel movements as well as normal frequency of bowel movements. Moving on to GERD: Unfortunately I can't report any positive changes. Gerd symptoms ...

Re: H Pylori, Lyme, Pancreatitis, etc.

Aside from the Probiotics I would also advice to take some sort of anti-fungal (i.e Nystatin) while on Antibiotics because otherwise an intestinal Candida imbalance may occur and spread further, especially in people who are immunodeficient.

Re: H Pylori, Lyme, Pancreatitis, etc.

Contracting H pylori also disintegrated my health dramatically. Again I want to note the liver problems which came up in my blood tests as well. Another condition that was diagnosed after eradication was Aplastic anemia. Obviously I cant say with absolute certainty that H pylori had any role in it, ...

Re: Could all this be caused by Helicobacter?

Hi, I read through your post with much astonishment because many of the symptoms you described also befell me once H pylori infected my gut. Initially I thought these symptoms were also unrelated because I was unable to find these particular symptoms in any medical literature. You mentioned elevated...

Re: IBS,GERD, Mouth Ulcers After successful H Pylori Eradica

Currently I'm still on a waiting list to see a new gastroenterologist which hopefully wont be much longer, but until then I want to educate myself as much as possible so I can arrange a colonoscopy immediately when I finally do see him. Out of curiosity I was wondering why you would treat Antibiotic...

Re: IBS,GERD, Mouth Ulcers After successful H Pylori Eradica

Hi Helico, And Thanks for your reply. You brought up an interesting point, a year ago my ex-gastroenterologist mumbled something about c-diff but for whatever reason then dismissed it as a possibility. Now I am definitely interested in getting a stool test and at least ruling it out. In the event it...

IBS,GERD, Mouth Ulcers After successful H Pylori Eradication

Hi Everyone, First here my History: In 2007 I started a new job in waste management and contracted H pylori from being exposed to human feces particles on a daily basis. I was not however aware I had contracted H pylori until almost 2 years later after a routine check-up. The doc prescribed the comm...

Re: 4th Line Treatment to Eradicate H. Pylori

UPDATE: Just got retested and came back Negative ! Admittedly I was a little skeptical at first so I decided to get tested a second time in order to rule out the possibility of a false negative and with utter joy the results thankfully came back Negative again ! :) I'm so extremely happy the nightma...

Re: PBRC treatment Dosage Intervals

Greetings Barry, And Thank you for the reassurance that I can't go wrong no matter how I decide to take the medication ! :D Also I should be fine taking two Pepto Bismol's rather than one since it does state on the bottle to take two four times daily regardless. From what I recall the pharmacist did...
