Re: A question about neurological issues and treatment for HP

You can pass to other people by kissing or sharing food. But if you keep your mouth cleansed by brushing teeth twice a day, then it'll greatly reduce the chance of transmission.

If you already have HP diagnosed, then I think you should get it treated.

Re: Breathing issues + other symptoms

I dont think H. pylori causes your breathing issue. You may have H. pylori for a very long time and recently infected with an unknown bacteria that causes your breathing issue. Luckily the antibiotics that kill off the H. pylori also acts on that unknown bacteria.

Re: Helicobacter symtomps reverse after treatment

without finding out if you have H. pylori, we dont know if your problem is caused by H. pylori. Now that you have started the antibiotics, we just have to assume it is and probably other pathogen. Do finish your antibiotics to prevent resistant strains.

good luck to your treatment.

Re: Test for H. pylori in other parts of the body?

I think that review article is a bit mis-leading. It's like a textbook summarised what had been reported. As the article mentioned, most of the tests were done by PCR. it's a very poor method for H. pylori detection. The false positive and negative rate are too high. Usually I would want to see the ...
