Re: Breathing issues + other symptoms

I dont think H. pylori causes your breathing issue. You may have H. pylori for a very long time and recently infected with an unknown bacteria that causes your breathing issue. Luckily the antibiotics that kill off the H. pylori also acts on that unknown bacteria.

Re: Helicobacter symtomps reverse after treatment

without finding out if you have H. pylori, we dont know if your problem is caused by H. pylori. Now that you have started the antibiotics, we just have to assume it is and probably other pathogen. Do finish your antibiotics to prevent resistant strains.

good luck to your treatment.

Re: Test for H. pylori in other parts of the body?

Re: Life after treatment - symptoms

Yup. wait for the test. there is no point guessing. Some people will continue to have the symptom for a while. It is depending on the damage done by H. pylori and your healing ability. For now, you can try some probiotics and herbs to calm your symptoms.

follow your doctor's instruction. Take Nizatidine whenever you need it. continue to use this drug until the night before breath test.

Re: Test for H. pylori in other parts of the body?

Hi, H. pylori only present in the stomach. Three is no evidence that H. pylori can present elsewhere in the body. You can perform a breath/stool test to see if you still carry H. pylori.

Re: newly HP diagnosed, given 2week triple regimen - questions & confused

some people does take a while to recover. You need to find out from your doctor if you still carry H. pylori. Usually the doctor would advise you to wait a month without any antibiotics or PPI. then repeat the breath or stool test.
