Some people can develop acid reflux after treatment. the reason is unknown. but my own hypothesis is that during the treatment, your acid secretion is suppressed by PPI. Your body was "tricked" that there is a need of producing more acid. So the pressure of making acid is building up. And when you finished the PPI, there is a build up of acid making. hence reflux. So you can go back to PPI and gradually decrease the PPI to regulate your acid production.

Okay one last question, was the route in which I took my medicine, 5 in the morning together and 5 in the evening sufficient enough to hopefully cure the h pylori. I took one dose on day one and forgot to take the doses and started back on Day 2 and finished up all my meds two days ago. (14 day treatment.)

the idea is of spreading out the medications is so that your body maintain the high level of medications to poison the bacteria. missing a dose in the beginning should be alright.

Okay great to know. I’ve been experiencing some discomfort within my stomach since I’ve gotten done with my treatment. My stomach bubbles and then I hear the fizzing of the acid rising from time to time.

yea... I believe it is because your microbiata has been disturbed. You'll probably need some probiotic to balance up the good and bad bacteria.

I’m curious too, I was wondering since I took Metronidazole, Pantoprazole, Azithromycin and Amoxicillin in my first therapy, how come my doctor gave me Metronidazole, Clarithromycin, Pantoprazole and Amoxicillin in my second treatment?

that's not good. azithromycin is the same as clarithromycin. they are both macrolide. resistant to one normally resistant to another. anyway, if you have already started your treatment, you should finish it. if you have not started the treatment, then you should ask for second opinion.

I’ve been having a mild stitch in my back on the left side near the shoulder blades when swallowing. Sometimes the pain travels to my left side and to the upper left side of my stomach. Could that be related to the H. Pylori too?

sometimes, during the infection, the lymph node around the stomach get swollen and you can feel the pain just below the rib. I am not sure if the pain you describe is associated with H. pylori. It is better you discuss that with your GP.
