So for years I suffered from severe constipation, bloating, extremely foul smelling stool, chronic bad breath and I was finally diagnosed with hp and was put on antibiotics and antacids. I have finished 7 days of quadruple treatment of metroindazole, doxycycline, omperazole and pepto-bismol. All my symptoms are gone and I feel a lot better but I have this odor coming out of my nose? It smells like ammonia. Is this related to the treatment I took or something? I'm taking probiotics at the moment but this odor is unpleasant and has me worried.

your microbiome is probably shifted due to antibiotic use. so you are probably noticing some changes you are not familiar with. Nevertheless, it is important to make sure your H.pylori is truly eradicated. book yourself another appointment to get a breath test done in a month time.

Have a question, I finished my 14 day treatment approx. 6 days ago. Feel really good. No symtoms. Obviously I haven't had my follow up test to verify irradication. Today having lunch with my daughter my graqndsons both were drinking from my water bottle before I realized it. What are the chances I could have transferred this crap to my grandsons from my water bottle?

Since you just finished your treatment, the H. pylori, should there be any survival, will be in low number. In addition, if you always brushes your teeth in the morning, your chances of passing H. pylori via bottle water is almost zero.
