Antibiotic Resistant HP

Post by luci2010 » Fri Jul 30, 2010 10:15 am

Hi guys,

Just wanted to share with you a very good article from GUT magazine about Antibiotic resistance:

Although you need to pay to subscribe, you can register for free and have acess to all contents for 30 days. This will allow you to download the whole article. It's pretty good, definetely worth reading.

They emphasize the necessity of regional antimicrobial resistance surveillance and how this data should always be used before prescribing medication for HP. It's amazing that some countries have shown up to 40% resistance to Metronidazole and this medication is STILL given as the first course of eradication therapy in these countries.
Please check the FAQ. If you haven't tried it yet, click here, and look inside the FAQ's. Your question might already be answered.
