H. pylori is a chronic infection and will not give acute attack. That's why it's not focused by the ER team. It is so chronic that a lot of people ignore until there is major symptoms. The treatment of H. pylori takes a long time and a lot of doctor doesnt like to follow up such cases and dont spend a lot of afford treating them. the mind set of many of them is... this patient wont die yet. not until many years later. he can wait.
