What are your symptoms ??

The various unpleasant manifestations of Helicobacter can be described here. Remember however that the great majority of persons with Hp have no symptoms that they are aware of and consider themselves normal.

2200 is high.

Mine was 1124 (give or take 100) and it was considered "Very High". I did the triple therapy for it.
Normal range is 50-250 for UBT. Not sure if all tests are the same though, check with your doctor.

Your symptoms are odd, not sure if they are H. PYlori related, except for the lack of appetite.

Hi all,

as long as it is greater than 200, it is positive, it doesnt matter how high the value is. We have often see values around 3000 or even 5000. A few months ago, a lady came in with a result of 9000 (record breaking). But we then repeat the UBT and return with a value of 3000+.

the UBT value is correlate to the number of bacteria in your stomach. However, the bacteria load does not correlate to the disease outcome. So I wouldnt pay too much attention on the high UBT value.
