Yes, by endoscopy the amount of bile is measured in the stomach and esophagus (none or some). I'm not the specialist, but this is what I found out from the doctors.

My husband has the problem with bile reflux after gallbladder removal. We tried to get any possible help on it. Frankly, my conclusion is that doctors don't really know how to treat it successfully, I see people struggling to find the solution. Alopathic medicine has some medicines which are sometimes successful, doctors also suggest operation to move the duct from the stomach (normally it goes into small intestine, joint point close to stomach). As far as I could notice better results come from natural and alternative medicine (I would suggest homeopathy, my husband is at the moment receiving the treatment and it helps). I also found some natural remedies yet to try as he still has nausea, I found Rhodiolin to help and remedy called triphala, also we want to try red wine which is put to boil and then you add the same quantinty of cold water, drinking it warm in small sips. This we want to try, don't know how it will be effective as every organism is different.

Good luck!

I dont really believe in alternative medicine, at least for now. Nothing has really shown effective in vivo. alternative medicine may help the to relieve the symptom, but unlikely to remove the root of the problem. antibiotic is the only way to eradicate the bacteria. perhaps can try alternative medicine after antibiotic treatment.

I know this is old... Any updates?? I'm on my last day of eradication for h pylori. Researching all over the web. Mine was pretty severe, was DX with reactive hypoglycemia and h pylori a few weeks later. H pylori possibly causes reactive hypoglycemia. Upper endo DX the gastritis & biopsy confirmed h pylori. Been sick for 3 years... As of today still burping constantly, which is usually started by arrhythmia. I think it's all related as I've had complete cardiac work up.

Does it get better? What blood work should I do after eradication? (Not to confirm its gone, I have appt in 4 weeks for stool exam) but I mean... Vitamin/mineral levels? Chromium/magnesium.. Etc. I read they can be affected by infection.

I've cut the acidic food, dairy. I limit sugar daily due to sugar regulation issues. Any other advice?

a small group of people does develop "burping" after the treatment. unfortunately the only you can do is to continue PPI to protect your esophagus and teeth corrosion.

in regards to vitamins before and after treatment, i think that is a very interesting topic that nobody has investigated.

How is everyone doing? Any updates to those who have been trying to heal the stomach? Thanks.

Would love for you to give some feedback on how you're feeling. I'm feeling the exact same as you did after my H. Pylori treatment. It's been nothing short of excruciating.

I would advice to check h pylori one more time. I am in the same position as you. Waiting the result of endoscopy after treatment finished 6 months but I have the same simptoms. Please update.
