Re: Complete recovery?

Thanks again for your reply.

I have had a few tests and I have some more in the future just to make sure, but I think the HP aftermath is my sole problem to be honest.

I will be patient and hopefully, over the next few months mine too will subside.

Fingers crossed...

Re: Complete recovery?

Yes. I was treated for H. Pylori in March 2016. You can even look through some of my posts on this forum then. I was graduating that year from school and it was impacting my life. Most of my symptoms began subsiding by 2017. I progressively got better. I still have some gas and bloating once in a w...

Re: Complete recovery?

Thanks so much for your response. It's kind of you to come back on here to comment now that you are better.

I can deal with waiting as long as I know it will go away eventually!

Many thanks.

Complete recovery?

I know that some people take a long, long time to recover from gastritis (I'm one of them, sadly.), but do people usually make a full recovery? By full recovery I mean symptom-wise. I understand that gastritis can remain medically in some form for a long time, but I mean in terms of the experience o...

Re: H pylori, moderate gastritis

I had and still have nausea from time to time but that's maybe like once a week. The first few weeks of esomeprazole i had it more often but then it kind of went away. Best of luck, that's awesome that you at least don't get any pain anymore. By month 5 after eradication i still had stomach pain. T...

Re: H pylori, moderate gastritis

I'm one of those who got "better" after a long time. Its been a year and 3 months since i got rid of helicobacter ( confirmed multiple times ) and oh boy was it a long and bumpy ride. The hardest thing being the doctors not knowing anything about it : for most once the helicobacter is gone you shou...

Re: H pylori, moderate gastritis

Hi, let me clarify for you (search my other recent posts as these are common questions): The gastritis may never totally heal but remains in a "mild chronic" form. This is usually asymptomatic. Taking all patients, in double blind trials, 7% are TOTALLY CURED and about 30% are substantially better....

Re: How long before my nausea will go away?

I have had light to moderate nausea for about 2 months now. I never vomited (though came close once or twice). The symptoms are intermittent. Sometimes I could go 3 days or more with barely any issues. Then, the nausea would just sort of arise. Sometimes 2 hrs after eating, sometimes just randomly....
