Re: H pylori, moderate gastritis

I had and still have nausea from time to time but that's maybe like once a week.
The first few weeks of esomeprazole i had it more often but then it kind of went away.

Best of luck, that's awesome that you at least don't get any pain anymore. By month 5 after eradication i still had stomach pain.

Re: H pylori, moderate gastritis

I'm one of those who got "better" after a long time. Its been a year and 3 months since i got rid of helicobacter ( confirmed multiple times ) and oh boy was it a long and bumpy ride. The hardest thing being the doctors not knowing anything about it : for most once the helicobacter is gone you shoul...

Re: PPI may not be working for some of US

Thanks for this great post! Very good info. If you get your personal DNA sequenced, do you think you will get the results in a form that allows you to easily see whether you have this Gene or not? So would it be worth to do that for people who are feeling they don't benefit from the PPI as much as ...

Re: Husband has h pylori that won't go away

your doctor seems like a pretty despicable person. Giving up on the eradication process after ONLY 2 rounds of antibiotic is the worst thing i've ever read, i mean just have a look around here. We have a lot of success stories after even 5 or 6 rounds ;) My advice would be for you to take Pylera, th...

Re: Do you think I have HP? Does anyone else have these symptoms?

I think you need to go to a GP and get a breath or stool test. It is better to know exactly if you are infected than just guessing. Depending where you are, in developed countries where H. pylori is almost gone, most of the ulcers were caused by NSAIDs (Pain killers except paracetamol). If you are ...

PPI may not be working for some of US

Hey everyone, its been a while ~ Lately i've been talking with a General practitioner and some DNA specialists about the efficiency of PPI and especially why they don't seem to work on some people. And why would it be the reason some people take forever to recover even through H.Pilory has been erad...

Re: Two stages of treatment - and still hurts!

Good day to all! My name is Julia, I am from Moscow. In October of 2015 I was diagnosed with Helicobacter (diagnosis: gastroduodenitis, reflux esophagitis, erosive gastritis). Since then it has passed two stages of treatment: 1. (February 2016) PPI, clarithromycin, amoxicillin - 14 days. Respirator...

Re: H Pylori is ruining my life, struggling to start my university studies. My story and request of your help!

Pantoprazole will stop acid and so if you have ulcers, it will heal. However, if you still have H. pylori, the moment you stop pantoprazole, your ulcer will come back. you can continue the pantoprazole for 2 months. if symptoms gone, then wait 2-3 weeks and repeat the breath test. If you still have...
